Australian Privacy Policy

We recognise and value the protection of your personal information and have implemented this Privacy Policy in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APP).  This policy sets out how we collect, hold, and use your personal information, and under what circumstances we may disclose or transfer your personal information.  This Privacy Policy is incorporated into the Heart Connection and Alchemy of Men Terms of Use.

We collect your personal information so that we can create an account for you to access and use Heart Connnection and Alchemy of Men Retreats, Workshops Courses and Services. Information will only be collected directly from you unless you authorise for another person to provide the information.

The type of personal information we collect includes your name, address, telephone number, email, business details, and any additional information you provide to us.

The personal information you provide us is used for our primary business purpose which is providing retreats, workshops, courses and in person one on one and couples sessions.  Examples of when we may use your information include:

  1. providing you with our serv (whether online or in-person);

  2. informing you about our products and services;

  3. administering your account;

  4. dealing with requests, inquiries or complaints and other customer care related activities;

  5. marketing our products and services generally; and

  6. carrying out any activity in connection with a legal, governmental, or regulatory requirement on us or in connection with legal proceedings, crime or fraud prevention, detection, or prosecution.

We may also use personal information for purposes related to those described above which would be reasonably expected by you in connection with the service.

If you contact us with a general question, we may interact with you anonymously or through the use of a pseudonym.  However, you are required to provide true and accurate details when registering and using your account and you agree that you will provide accurate information if so required.

From time to time we (or an appointed third party) may send you marketing or promotion material.  Marketing and promotional material will only be sent to you if you have opted in to receiving marketing material.

To opt-out of receiving certain marketing material, you may contact us or select the “unsubscribe” link provided in the email.

  1. We may disclose or receive personal information or documents about you to/from law enforcement agencies to assist in the prevention of criminal activities.

  2. We may disclose your personal information to third-party contractors or service providers with whom we have a business association, including course authors, our web hosting provider, our course platform (teachable.com) and marketing service providers such as Hubspot

  3. We may disclose your personal information to employees, a related company, and professional advisors such as our lawyers or accountant.

  4. Unless you consent or disclosed in this privacy policy, we will not disclose your personal information to other third parties.

 

Overseas Disclosure

While we do not actively disclose your personal information to overseas entities, we do use the website  teachable.com website to offer our courses which is based in the United States and may have access to your information.

 

Our use of Cookies, Pixels and Web Beacons

Cookies are used to assist you to navigate around our website, to streamline the service provided to you and for marketing purposes.  We may incorporate Facebook and Google pixels into our website as a way to offer you more tailored advertising and user experience.  Web Beacons may also be used in order to count the number of visitors to our website or open our emails.

 

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service that uses cookies to help the website analyse how you use the site.

Your continued use after the notice period has lapsed indicates your consent to be bound by the amended Privacy Policy.
